Abstract

An epic tale told on an intimate scale inspired by maverick British adventurer Gertrude Bell. The GB Project is a powerful and insightful look at the impact of one woman on the shaping of modern day Iraq.

The GB Project fuses fragments of text gathered from diaries, letters and biographies, alongside contemporary voices and speeches to raise questions about history, legacy, loyalty and love.
