Abstract

'Why Do Bees Buzz?' follows the fortunes of Sneak the animal trainer and Bumble the bee-keeper as they try to bring order to the magical mayhem of the animal kingdom. Desperate to find a solution they consult the worldly wisdom of the mysterious Baba-Yaga, but they get more than they bargained for when the aptly named Trouble gets involved. Written and directed by Chris Speyer, with music by Ieuan Goch ab Einion, 'Why Do Bees Buzz?' combines stunning visuals and puppetry with live music, original songs and lots of audience participation.
