Abstract

We present an IDMA scheme combined with OFDM for PON, which offers improved transmission performance and good chromatic dispersion tolerance. Compared with OFDMA, IDMA-OFDM offers 8 dB gains in term of receiver sensitivity in the cases of 2 users.
