Abstract

Every researcher with experience of contributing to practice provision is a practitioner researcher. This approach shapes research decisions in ways that may be different to traditional research. Practitioner research involves a number of issues relating to integration with research participants. Transparency is needed to make the rationale for these decisions clear and open to evaluation. A practitioner research culture is needed to support practitioner research developments.
