Abstract

This research investigates the supplier selection processes of an automotive production supplier in the automotive industry. The investigation analyzes frameworks from the literature related to the supplier selection process and relates them to the methods of supplier selection in the analyzed case. This method identifies howa successful supplier can be chosen. Recommendations on how the company might be able to improve their processesare discussed and suggestions are given as to how a buyer can help
a supplier in being successful upon commencing business.
