Abstract

Following the reduction in the scope of legal aid as a consequence of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012, the courts in England and Wales have seen a rise in the number of litigants in person. This article explores whether there is a role for Higher Education institutions in addressing the problem.
