Additional Information: Post-doctoral researcher involved in the identification and characterisation of the mutant. The polysaccharide under study(arabinan) is major component of soluble dietary fibre and can be used as a fat-replacing ingredient in food colloidal preparations. It is therefore of importance to understand its biosynthesis in plants.
