Rather than attempting to provide a wide-ranging overview of British horror cinema, this chapter explores the textual dimensions of Dog Soldiers, made in 2002 by Neil marshall and shot in the UK and Luxembourg. Examining the bodies of the terrified and attacked British soldiers, known as 'squaddies', this chapter situates Dog Soldiers in relation to other examples of the werewolf film genre and British horror films in general.
