Abstract
Reflects on the delays in bringing criminal prosecutions against companies associated with the Grenfell Tower disaster. Reviews the potential corporate manslaughter offence under the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, its application to date, and the reasons for its restricted use. Considers the complexities of the Grenfell Tower litigation, and the implications of a successful corporate manslaughter prosecution in the case.
