Abstract

This chapter presents an array of short expert views on Brexit and future UK-EU relations with regard to internal security. It consisting of both Fichera’s and Ripoll Servent’s discussions of Brexit’s impact on the future development of the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (AFSJ); Mortera-Martinez’s analysis of the two parties’ negotiation stances shaping future cooperation; and Fahey’s reflection upon how transatlantic relations can inform future UK-EU cooperation in internal security.
