Abstract
An existing conservatory could only be used in the warmer months therefore the clients wished to replace the unit with a permanent insulated structure which still exploited the excellent vies of the Tyne valley.
We propose installing an entirely zinc clad box, with the cladding echoing the existing main house which has tiles wrapping the roof and walls. Large openings to the North and West allow natural light to flood into the re-instated open plan layout of the main house.
