Abstract

There is growing emphasis on teenagers to adopt healthy behaviours and sustainable lifestyles. Innovative interventionsdelivered through pervasive technology or the internet areincreasingly viewed as effective ways to motivate and help peoplechange their behaviour. However, delivering interventions tochange teenager’s attitude or behaviour via pervasive systemsneed to be designed specifically for the target population. Whenworking with teenagers relevant, teen-centric and appropriateactivities need to be used. The aim of this workshop is to discussand develop interdisciplinary research in the design of technologyfor behaviour change interventions in the teenage population.
