Abstract
The author argues that historians of religion should focus more attention on religion in the U.S. South. Topics include the significance of socially marginal religious groups in the South, the views of philosopher Michel de Certeau on the notion of the other, and the documentary film "Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus," written by Steve Haisman.
