Abstract
This study has demonstrated the potential S. pasteurii and consequently MICP holds in improving the integrity of finish to concrete, without the use of chemical based sealants. This is part of an ongoing range of experimental work designed to find an effective way of using bacteria as a cementitious repair agent.
