Abstract

EPSRC funded fellowship. High relevance to thin film PV cells production. This paper reports a tuneable buffer layer production technique. Technique that enables adjustment of the lattice constant, electron affinity and bandgap. The technique is applicable to deposit buffer layers for a range of solar cell absorber layers. Reduced environmental impact process. Low cost production process. The work was judged to be tending to outstanding by the reviewers (GR/R10653/01).
