World Financial Orders contributes to debates over the distinctiveness of the contemporary globalisation of finance. Situated within the field of international political economy (IPE), and taking an historical approach, the book argues that contemporary global finance is marked by a multi-centred market structure that is reproduced by unprecedented transnational governmental arrangements. In addition to reviews in some of the principal journals in the field of IPE (International Affairs, Review of Radical Political Economies), World Financial Orders has had an impact across a range of disciplines, as evidenced by reviews in Political Geography, Financial History Review and Alternatives Economiques (in French).
