This chapter utilises data from previous research studies to investigate the extent to which resilient techniques are being employed in the repair of flood-damaged property in England and Wales. It discusses the wider implications of the effect of flooding on property values and seeks to offer some conclusions regarding the long-term benefits derived from adopting flood-resilient reinstatement techniques and methods.
