Abstract

This case note analyses the Court of Appeal judgment in R v Zaman [2017] EWCA Crim 1783, on the potential liability for gross negligence manslaughter of restaurateurs who inadvertently serve customers meals containing ingredients to which the customers were known to be allergic, with fatal consequences.
