Abstract
Public engagement in health and social care research: A research skills training program to facilitate carer involvement and the co-creation of new knowledge around carer health checks
This project aims to:
-Give participants the basic knowledge and skills necessary to carry out (with ongoing support) a small research study,
-Allow the academic involved to work alongside carers, gain insight and learn about the reality of carers situation,
-Act as an opportunity for authentic partnership between academics and carers.
