The article presents a case study which uses a qualitative research approach based on critical success factors (CSFs) for successful information technology (IT) adoption identified in large-scale integrated IT systems in private sector organisations. Unstructured interviews are conducted with the Teespath programme director and IT manager to identify their CSFs. It shows that Enterprise Resource Planning CSFs are useful tools for analysing the management of complex IT projects within the National Health Service.
