Abstract
Research at University of Northumbria at Newcastle involved a building on the campus, Northumberland Building, having its south facing facade reclad with PV modules architecturally integrated into the cladding. The emergence of PV as a building material is resulting in much discussion on technical performance, cost and aesthetic implications.
