Abstract

In this paper we present the results of survey of 3,200 employees of a UK local authority. We seek to address apparent gaps in the literature by using internal market research to identify segments of employees and describe the resulting implications from an IM perspective. In doing so, we utilise concepts from both the HRM and marketing literature and contribute to academic understanding in both fields.
