The workshop will present the range of outcomes of an FDTL Phase 4 project, which has gone on to produce additional, post project materials, designed to enhance the preparation and on-going support of those responsible for supervision of learning in the workplace, primarily students on work-based placement. Participants will: Gain insight into a range of available resources. Consider the usefulness of the resources for enhancing learning in the workplace. Identify ways to make effective use of the resources. Following a short presentation of the project’s background, there will be a demonstration of project outputs. Participants will then undertake directed activities on an individual and group basis, with feedback to enable participants to provide information of their perspectives on a range of key questions based upon the workshop’s aims. Participants will gain insight into the nature and use of resources that can be utilised in their area of educational practice.
