Abstract
Is recycling the ultimate solution for the better world? No! And neither is up-cycling. If so, what can we do with the products that already exist in the world? How can sustainability be ascertained?
Today design is not merely responsible for creating value for new artefacts, but also rediscovering the value of existing products that people do not need. This presentation attempts to provoke a dialogue, by demonstrating a service design approach, which set out to rediscover the value of e-waste.
