The session will provide a short overview of the Making Practice Based Learning Work project’s outcomes, which aimed to make health care practitioners more effective in their role at supporting & supervising students in the workplace across a range of healthcare disciplines. There will then be a discussion of how to effectively disseminate and then embed into practice the project’s outputs, online materials and other resources. The British Government funded FDTL Phase 4 project, Making Practice Based Learning Work, aimed to make health care practitioners more effective in their role at supporting & supervising students in the workplace across a range of healthcare disciplines. The project has: • Identified and documented good practice on preparing health care practitioners for their educational role. • Developed learning materials for practitioners. • Disseminated online materials across health and social care communities. • Evaluated online materials for enhancing role of practice educators. The session will include an overview of the project’s outcomes before focussing on a participatory exploration of: • Effective ways to further disseminate information about project’s online materials and other resources. • Strategies to embed developed learning materials into practice based learning contexts.
