It was a follow on idea based on research collaboration with Fujitsu Telecommunications, UK, 2002. Research results directly relevant to optical communications industries. The first version of this paper was presented at the CSNDSP04 conference, and was selected for publication in the Special Issue of the IET Proceeding Circuits, Devices and Systems (one of 12 out of 300 papers). A PhD research project funded by the Malaysian Government. |
